AMMONIA CORROSION TEST CHAMBER
An ammonia corrosion test chamber for PV panels is used to evaluate potential failures in PV modules when operating in wet atmospheres with a high concentration of dissolved ammonia (NH3). The purpose of this test is to verify that the bypass diodes of the test samples remain functional after exposure to ammonia.

The test chamber is made of stainless steel. It has the following specifications:
Internal dimension: 2500x1250x3000mm (LWH) customizable
Volume: 350 cuft / 10200 ltrs
External dimension: 2600x1350x3100 (LWH)
Temperature range: RT+5℃~+60℃
Temperature uniformity: ≤±2℃
Temperature fluctuation: ≤±1℃
The test chamber uses the IEC 62716 standard. This standard describes test sequences useful to determine the resistance of PV modules to ammonia (NH3).
