A weather monitoring station (WMS) is a key component of a PV-Solar power plant. It measures parameters such as: Solar radiation, Wind velocity, Wind direction, Humidity, Module temperature.

The data captured by a WMS is used to calculate the performance ratio (PR) of the solar power plant.
